Bible Study
We are studying the Book of Matthew. Meets at 10 am in the Bride’s Room. (In person only.) We will not meet 12/25 or 1/01.
Blue Christmas Service
For those who are grieving, or challenged with depression, addiction, or a life transition, Christmas can be a difficult time. Attending our special Blue Christmas service can help. Wednesday, December 14 at Noon.
CHRISTMAS
Saturday December 24, Christmas Eve
5:30 p.m. The early service will feature our children in a presentation of “The Best Old-Fashioned Christmas Pageant Ever!” It is a telling of the Christmas Story with the congregation joining in on some familiar Christmas hymns. The service will end with the traditional singing of “Silent Night.”
Bring newborn gifts wrapped in white tissue for the children to carry to the altar! Gifts will be distributed to needy infants and Moms-to-be in our community. Suggested items: socks, onesies, diapers, blankets, hats, mittens, undershirts, pajamas, snow suits. Please wrap them in plain white
tissue. We will bring them to the altar and bless them and their recipients.
10:00 p.m. The late service will begin with the congregation singing special arrangements of Christmas hymns and our Adult Choir singing two anthems. Carrie Moscoe will sing “Rejoice Greatly, O Zion” from Handel’s Messiah and Michael Cannon will sing “O Holy Night.” The service will end with the traditional singing of “Silent Night.”
