Dinner Church with Alice Garrick on April 20

Alice Garrick, Executive Director, Women Development Services, Diocese of Raiwind-Church of Pakistan will be speaking at our Dinner Church, part Eucharist and part community potluck dinner, on Saturday, April 20 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm

Please don’t miss this opportunity to meet her and hear from another part of our Anglican communion! Please bring a dish to share, and invite friends to share in this casual dinner Eucharist service.

Established in 1989, Women Development Services (WDS) works to empower women and build a just community. WDS is affiliated with the Church of Pakistan, Diocese of Raiwand, which is part of the Anglican Communion. Working with women who are victims of the sex industry and offering training, support, and education for women and girls in Pakistan, WDS has a critical mission.

Ms Garrick asks for our prayers and support to continue the struggle for human survival and dignity. She will be bringing samples of art, clothing, and jewelry made by women in the program, which will be available for purchase to support their ongoing work.

Ms Garrick will also accept donations of items that will support the women’s efforts. If you have unused yarn, beads, embroidery thread, needles, embroidery patterns/guides, etc, please feel free to bring them.
