Made in America 1893: A Concert by Amadeus Lex
Amadeus Lex, who produced such a lovely outdoor concert for us back in May, are returning for an indoor performance on Sat. Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m.
“Made in America 1893,” features popular, patriotic, and art music from nineteenth century America, including music by John Phillip Sousa, Scott Joplin, Antonín Dvořák, and many more. We will also introduce a new painting by Lexington artist Bonnie Klein, commissioned for and inspired by the program. You won’t want to miss this evening of wild music- and art-making.
This unforgettable concert by professional musicians who definitely know what they are doing is presented at no charge. We are grateful to our season sponsors who make this possible, and we humbly suggest a $20 donation to help keep the wheels on the bus. But don’t let that stop you—we hope you’ll join us either way!
